1,000 words: Rear View
Rear View was created as a response to an experimental writing prompt developed by a (now defunct) writing collective in Portland. The prompts were based on the Oulipo ("workshop of potential literature"), a group of mostly French writers who sought to create based on various extremely rigid prompts. The film was first presented with the work of four writers, who gave readings along with the film showing.
